The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '64 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The Alder body is finished in a super cool Faded Aged Surf Green nitro lacquer, Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other more modern finishes.
The AA Flamed Quartersawn Maple neck has a smooth finish. With a 9.5" radius and 21 Narrow Tall frets, the '64 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a '63 Style Oval "C" neck shape. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a trio of handwound Fender Fat Texas Special pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. These pickups are incredibly rare to find on the market, and the fact this beautiful example of a Fender Custom Shop is loaded with them is a real treat.
